Harlem Station

The work Harlem Station, a freestanding cutout mural produced in 1984, is part of the Arts in Transit program for the Chicago “L” Transit Authority. The mural is located in the interior of the Harlem Station and is also visible from both the train and the highway. Located on the West-Northwest Route of the O'Hare branch, 5550 N. Harlem Avenue, Chicago, it celebrates Chicago’s diversity and its reputation as a city of hard working people. The work is two sided and measures 8 feet by 50 feet.
